Please arrive by 15:15 to board the Mar de Ons ferry. The boat departs at 15:30 sharp for a 40-minute route to Cíes islands.
Transportation from the conference venue:

16:15 – 19:00 | Cíes Islands
Upon arrival at the archipelago, we will begin a guided tour provided by Mar de Ons’ guides. This walk will cover the islands’ unique biodiversity, the history of the ancient settlements, and the conservation efforts of the Atlantic Islands National Park.
Return: We will re-board at the Cíes pier for the return ferry at 19:15 sharp.
Tips for the Islands:

- Footwear: The tour involves walking on sandy and gravel paths; please wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers.
- National Park Rules: The Cíes Islands are a protected area. Please remember that no trash cans are available on the island; we must carry back everything we bring.
- Sun & Wind: Even if it’s cloudy, the sea breeze can be deceptive. Sunscreen and a light windbreaker for the boat ride are highly recommended.
20:30 | Conference Dinner at La Central Gastro (Praza da Constitución)
Once back at the Vigo port, we will take a 5–10 minute walk into the historic Casco Vello (Old Town) to reach our dinner venue.
